Ujjain is a spread out city but staying at Hotel Ujjain Pride gives easy access to important locations. The railway station is either walking distance or just a short rickshaw ride distance from the hotel. This makes arriving and departing from Ujjain very convenient.

Technically, it is an e-rickshaw ride of about 10-15 minutes to the main Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and the spectacular Mahakal Lok Corridor. Not exactly 'next door', but close enough to make frequent trips for both morning and evening aartis convenient.

There are also local markets nearby which sell religious artifacts and beads apart from the popular Ujjain batik prints. For food lovers, the adjoining streets offer stalls selling "Poha-Jalebi," the quintessential breakfast of this region that you can easily walk down to have a local culinary experience.
